NYP AWS Cloud Club is a student-led club that aims to educate students on AWS and its services. We also provide opportunities for students to learn and take part in competitions such as WorldSkills and AWS DeepRacer.
Unfortunately, AWS Cloud Club is only open to students from NYP SIT. However, if we see that you have a strong interest in cloud, we would be open to join our events and workshops, and even be part of our contributing team :)
To join NYP AWS Cloud Club, you must be a FYP, Year 1 or Year 2 student from NYP SIT. It would be better to have some basic knowledge of cloud computing and AWS services, but it is not a requirement. We welcome all students who are interested in joining our team to learn as you go.
A form will be available for you to indicate your interest. After which, you will submit to us a resume indicating your relevant interest. Subsequently, you'll be invited for an interview where we'll get to know you better!
No, you do not need to have prior knowledge in cloud or AWS certifications to join NYP AWS Cloud Club. We welcome all students who are interested in joining our team to learn as you go.
